Recently Jeremy ThunderHawk was out and about the countryside of the Standing Rock Nation (NorthernPlains) when he noticed a movement and a presence inside a buckbrush. When approached he found it was an eagle that was not flying away from a much too close human, he figured it was wounded so he phoned his brother-in-law Standing Rock Chairman Dave Archambault II who advised he use a blanket so he ran back to his vehicle, grabbed a blanket, walked up to the great spotted eagle and threw the blanket around him, securing him close while staying clear of his mighty talons! Jeremy turned the Spotted Eagle over to StandingRock Game & Fish which transported to the local zoo where it was determined the eagle had a bout of lead poisoning from eating prairie dogs killed by bullets containing lead! The eagle was nursed back to health , set free, and is in his own lands again flying high carrying our prayers to Creator. Once in a lifetime blessing! Winter count - naming material. INSPIRING!
