There's a group of women in my department who do 'craft night'
I don’t mind it but frankly I’m not interested in going—I’m all for practical pursuits but this is just not my bag. So I’m planning on starting a ‘basic survival skills night’.
Knots. Traps. Fire-building. Navigation. Edible and medicinal plant identification. Tracking/scat identification. Field trips for archery/sling throwing. AND MORE! … beer will probably be involved (although maybe not for archery/traps).
If only my girl scouts experience hadn’t been shit I’d have such a good head start.
